The problem with our Christian nation is that it’s not very
Christian anymore. You are not a
Christian simply because you say that you are. Our government says that 78.5%
of our population professes to be some form of Christian[1]. If you have not declared that Jesus is Lord
and established a personal relationship with Him, you are not a Christian. Many
of our founding fathers thought that a relationship with the Christ should be a
prerequisite to holding office in this country.
Today, in order to be elected, you have to be in fear of the church and
state separators. If you also don’t
believe in the devil and hell, you need to get your head around the basis of
your unbelief. The reason that the devil
is one step ahead of you is because he can operate in the shadows. “The god of this age has blinded the minds of
unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of
Christ, who is the image of God.”[2] “If you don’t have a
relationship with Jesus Christ, you don’t stand a chance against the devil.”[3] There are only two
forces at work in the world. They are
the forces of good and evil. They each
acknowledge the existence of the other.
How do you expect to survive if you deny the existence of that which
surrounds you? The devil is a liar, he
comes to steal, kill and destroy. “Any
good that you do will not get you into Heaven, and any bad that you do won’t
keep you out of Heaven. The only thing
that will get you into Heaven is the Grace of God, and the only thing that will
keep you out of Heaven is your refusal to put your faith in Jesus Christ.”[4] “We are all born ignorant, but one must work
hard to remain stupid.”[5]
One of the problems with Christian families is that we
teach our kids to believe in Santa Clause, the Tooth Fairy, the Easter Bunny
and Jesus. Then they have a hard time
believing that anything we tell them is true.
It doesn’t help that our education system has taken Christianity out of
the picture. In Acts 19:15, the evil
spirit answered them, "Jesus I know, and I know about Paul, but who are
you?" Isn’t it about time you
checked out Romans 10:9? That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is
Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you
will be saved. The absolute truth is
that this country was founded as a Christian nation under the inspiration of Providence . They were spiritually led men, establishing
that our rights are from God and not the government.
Our President, in the days before the election, made a
pretense of being Christian, apparently for political advantage. His pastor said that he was a politician who
would say anything to get elected.
“There is a remarkable consistency in what Barack Obama has done over
the years, despite inconsistencies in what he says”.[6] “Of the twenty-two civilizations that have
appeared in history, nineteen of them collapsed when they reached the moral
state the United States
is in now.”[7] “If my people, who are called by my name, will
humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways,
then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their
land.”[8]
I have been watching the History Channel series “America , The
Story of Us”. I was not surprised to see
that they told only part of the story.
This series, combined with the American Heritage series by Wallbuilders[9] succeed in telling the
whole story. As I expected, the History
channel series almost completely left out the spiritual aspects of our
founding. The series was very good at showing
what happened, but left out a lot of the underlying aspects which were of
course spiritual. In the same reasoning,
the progressives must get rid of the spirituality of our nation in order to
establish their control.
Progressives are socialists. The Nazi’s (National Socialist Party) were,
and are Socialists. Some progressives
have been hiding under in the cloak of Liberalism. I am sick and tired of those
who are conservative being called Nazi’s, since the conservative movement is
espousing smaller government and more individual freedom, which is far from
socialism. The Bible does not teach
socialism. Jesus was not a
socialist. Sharing, or giving unto
others voluntarily, by personal choice, is a lot different from having it taken
from you and redistributed. The eighth
commandment establishes the right to ownership of private property. Giving the
coat off your back is a self generated charity.
If the government takes from one and gives to another, it is in
violation of all that is Holy, and wholly American.
