CITY MOUSE VERSUS COUNTRY MOUSE

Since the beginning, perhaps since the beginning of the civilization, those who are huddled up in the cities (especially big cities) have not understood those who live outside of city life. The Aesop fable about the town mouse and the city mouse is known all over the world[1]. What is not understood is usually looked down on and causes fear. It is a well known fact that, in this country, northerners look down on southerners as not as smart and less educated. The city dwellers look down on the country folk for the same perceived reasons.

The Electoral College[2] was set up, by our countries founders for this very reason. The ELITISTS in those days were concentrated in the cities of Philadelphia, Boston and New York. In our country today, the ELITISTS (liberals?) are concentrated in New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles and a few other places. Today, four sections of the country would control the wants and needs of everyone else. President Obama says they are described this way: "... democrats are characterized as Costal, liberal, latte sippin.... you know, politically correct, outatouch folks"

The problem remains the same. The ELITISTS would be able to control the rights and fortunes of the people in most of the territory (land area) of the country simply by the sheer numbers of their votes. Different areas of the country have different needs than other areas. Generally speaking, those of the liberal city outlook are absorbed with their needs to the exclusion of all others. The Civil War was fought over differing needs for differing areas, such as industrial versus agricultural.

The following chart shows, by counties, the relationship of heartland versus city voters.

Our United States was set up as a REPUBLIC, instead of a DEMOCRACY, to eliminate the sheer numbers problem. A democracy is a one man, one vote situation. Under a democratic system the unwashed masses (city dwellers) could use the national treasury as their personal storehouse. No true democracy has ever survived it's own inherent flaws. Our founding fathers warned us about this problem.

"Democracy is the most vile form of government. ... democracies have ever been spectacles of turbulence and contention; have ever been found incompatible with personal security or the rights of property: and have in general been as short in their lives as the have been violent in their deaths."
— James Madison (1751-1836) Father of the Constitution, 4th President of the U. S.

“We are a Republic. Real Liberty is never found in despotism or in the extremes of Democracy.”
— Alexander Hamilton (1755-1804) Lawyer, Secretary of the Treasury & Secretary of State

“A simple democracy is the devil's own government.”
— Benjamin Rush (1745-1813) Founding Father& signer of the Declaration of Independence

“Democracy will soon degenerate into an anarchy; such an anarchy that every man will do what is right in his own eyes and no man's life or property or reputation or liberty will be secure, and every one of these will soon mould itself into a system of subordination of all the moral virtues and intellectual abilities, all the powers of wealth, beauty, wit, and science, to the wanton pleasures, the capricious will, and the execrable [abominable] cruelty of one or a very few.”
— John Adams (1797-1801) Second President of the United States and Patriot

“The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not.”
—  Thomas Jefferson, Author of the Declaration of Independence, 3rd President of the U. S.

“A democracy is a volcano, which conceals the fiery materials of its own destruction. These will produce an eruption, and carry desolation in their way.”
— Fisher Ames (1758-1808) Founding Father and framer of the First Amendment to the Constitution

“But between a balanced republic and a democracy, the difference is like that between order and chaos.”
— John Marshall (1755-1835) House Member, Secretary of State  and Chief Justice of the Supreme Court

Section 4 - Republican form of government guaranteed. Each State to be protected.
The United States shall guarantee to every state in this union, a republican form of government, and shall protect each of them against invasion; and on application of the legislature, or of the executive (when the legislature cannot be convened), against domestic violence.
United States Constitution Article 4, Section 4

Many more quotes by our founders, about democracy versus republican forms of government are available at : http://www.godtheorigintent.com/democracy_republic_quotes.html

The loosing side, in the recent 2016 presidential election, are calling for doing away with the Electoral College and installing a one man one vote democratic election process for president. Another tactic they are using, is to try to get the electors to change their vote. They are extremely busy trying to place blame for their loss. The are saying they lost because of the FBI investigations of Hillary Clinton, the Russians hacking their e-mils to help Donald Trump win, election fraud, the electoral college, the deplorable/irredeemable people who are Trump supporters and are demonstrating in the streets in protest of their loss. Oh, did I mention crying uncontrollably, because they have never been taught to handle defeat. ATTENTION HILLARY, the America people didn't want you in 2008. You were beaten by a neighborhood agitator. In 2016 the American people rejected you again. This time, if your side didn't cheat, you would have been beaten by a socialist in the primary. It's you Hillary, the people don't want you. At tins point , Donald Trump has won the general election, the recount and the electoral college. The peoples choice will be president.

You can easily see the fear of the election losers. The ELITIST'S (progressives[3]) have been insidiously infiltrating our nation since the nineteen twenties. Many of these progressives have gone into the journalism field and education fields to better be able to influence the people. We the people haven't noticed the indoctrination process as it developed. The goal of these people is to remove God from the public square and to control the supplies of water, food and energy to a point that they can control your life. Some people call them Globalists. I even had someone tell me that abortion is good, because there are to many people in the world. As far back as the Sixties, the progressive movement was saying that in order to implement their desired programs, they would necessarily have to eliminate the twenty five percent of the population who would never go along with their plans. Some of the Globalists today are saying we have to get the world population down to five hundred million.

The Bible is very descriptive about what will be happening in the last days. It is extremely evident, that in the last days, what I have written about here and in other writings is in the process of unfolding. Israel is back in their land, the progressives/globalists are being successful in eliminating God from the public square, the development of the apostate church, restricting the right to keep and bear arms and manipulating the supplies of the essentials like water, food and energy are all signs of the end times. There are some who are even calling for a "New World Order". The good news is the Good News, the Gospel: the Word of God. In the pages of the Bible are all the answers to the questions you may have thought about as you read this. The children of the One True and Living God have nothing to fear. As the Word says: FEAR NOT.

Post 2016 US Election Thoughts

This writing will necessarily contain my opinions about certain aspects of the election 2016, and it's aftermath. Some of what is presented is from other peoples opinions. It should be fairly easy to distinguish the difference between opinion and provable fact.

According to Donald Trump, he ran for president because he was concerned about and wanted to help the people of the United States. It has become abundantly obvious that there is a percentage of our people who are so upset that he won, that they have made up their minds to hurt him, personally, as badly as possible. Those of us, who are real Americans, need to be praying for and supporting him in every way possible. It was also our duty to pray for President Obama, and many of us did.

Get over it! Donald Trump is not a politician, and he is not going to do things the PC way. That's one reason why so many of the American people voted him into office. In case you don't get it yet, the American people who appose the PC way are in charge now. The " it's all about me" progressive elitists are now irrelevant.

"I'm noticing that a lot of you aren't graciously accepting the fact that your candidate lost. In fact you seem to be posting even more hateful things about those who voted for Trump. Some of you are apparently 'triggered' because you are posting how 'sick' you feel about the results. How did this happen you ask?

This is how it happened:

You created "us" when you attacked our freedom of speech.

You created "us" when you attacked our right to bear arms.

You created "us" when you attacked our Christian beliefs.

You created "us" when you constantly referred to us as racists.

You created "us" when you constantly called us xenophobic.

You created "us" when you called us irredeemable deplorables.

You created "us" when you told us to get on board or get out of the way.

You created "us" when you forced us to buy health care and then financially penalized us for not participating.

You created "us" when you lied and said we could keep our insurance plans and our doctors.

You created "us" when you allowed our jobs to continue to leave our country.

You created "us" when you attacked our flag.

You created "us" when you took God out of our schools.

You created "us" when you confused women's rights with feminism.

You created "us" when you began to emasculate men.

You created "us" when you decided to make our children soft.

You created "us" when you decided to vote for progressive ideals.

You created "us" when you attacked our way of life.

You created "us" when you decided to let our government get out of control.

"You" created "us" the silent majority.

You created "us" when you began murdering innocent law enforcement officers.

You created "us" when you took a knee, or stayed seated or didn't remove your hat during our National Anthem.

And we became fed up, and we pushed back and spoke up.

And we did it with ballots, not bullets.
With ballots, not riots.
With ballots, not looting.
With ballots, not blocking traffic.
With ballots, not fires, except the one you started inside of "us".

"YOU" created "US".

If you don't like" us", stop whining and LEAVE.
It really is just that simple."[1] You created us, when you became intolerant of us, yet expected us to be tolerant of you.

I don't know if it was the "Tea Party" folks, "Middle America" or "The Silent Majority" that ushered Donald Trump into the presidency. I do know it was the American working men and women, white, black, Hispanic, male and female who came out in greater numbers this time for a republican candidate, than at any time in the near past. Much to the chagrin of the democrats, more of a plurality came out for Trump. Some of these voters may not have been for Trump, but rather against Hillary Clinton and the progressives she represents.
There are a lot of people who will go bananas if I say that Trump was God's candidate. What I have seen is that a lot of people gave words from the Lord, prophesies, and messages about Trump running and what he is going to accomplish during his presidencies. Some of this information is based in things that happened as far back as 6 or more years.

Israel, and many other countries, are rejoicing that Trump was elected. The Obama administration has destabilized the world to the point that stability was doubtful everywhere. The lack of decisiveness and the "leading from behind" was confusing to everyone except those progressives who knew the back story. However you look at it, it was a miracle that Trump won, despite the Clinton machine, the Progressive machine, the corrupt DNC and all the dirty tricks used against him.

"CELEBRITIES AND THEIR INFLATED EGOS.
Everyone has an opinion and the right to express them.  What is ridiculous is for a celebrity to threaten to move or take some type of negative action because someone disagrees with them. What makes them think their actions or opinions should carry a greater force or value than the average person's. Seems as though they have become so egotistical and impressed with their own self value that they have lost all perspective. Again, it's that kind of behavior and attitude that contributed to the election of someone like Trump, who gave the regular guy the belief that he would and could be a messenger for them in a world where ELITISTS constantly ridiculed, marginalized and ignored them.  Yep, like that saying goes, the people have had enough of that and they are 'mad as Hell, and will not take it any more!'
That's right-
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! All people count, not just the world of politically correct garbage anymore. That crud is exactly that-
CRUD!!!!!"[2]

People are  saying that Donald Trump is the first businessman turned president. Baloney! George Washington was a businessman, Thomas Jefferson was a businessman, John Adams was a businessman, Abraham Lincoln was a businessman, Harry Truman was a business man; to name just a few. As far as I can tell, none of these men divested themselves of their business holding while in office. This move to have Trump divest himself from his holdings is simply another attempt to disrupt his presidency.

There are those who are second guessing every decision the President Elect Trump makes, especially when it comes to his cabinet choices. Condemning Trump for what you think he is doing is liberal group think. Please keep in mind that we have had 28 years of dubious leadership and barely ducked the bullet of Hillary Clinton. Perhaps we should reserve our judgment until we actually see what happens. A level headed citizenry would be a real blessing.

THE PSYCHICS, AT THE CIA, HAVE DETERMINED THAT THE RUSSIAN'S HACKED THE DNC, IN ORDER TO GET TRUMP ELECTED. Psychic power is the ONLY WAY they would have of knowing that.
The CIA now says that both the DNC and RNC were hacked by the Russian's. The RNC denied this. So what can we glean from this information? Apparently there wasn't any dirt to use from the RNC hacking. That means that only the DNC has the rotten, anti American dirt that could be used. The CIA and the FBI are squabbling over who and what the hacking represents, who was behind it and what the intent was. HOW SELF RIGHTEOUS ARE WE? We are so indignant about being hacked that we really look silly. If you remember, a few years ago the NSA was caught hacking loads of folks, like Angela Merkel and Israel. Why are the democrats trying to act like hacking is something new?

There is a movement by some democrats to do away with the Electoral College and go to a popular vote result. The founders established the College so that Philadelphia, Boston and New York wouldn't be able to control the whole country, based simply on population statistics. Different areas of the country, then and now, have differing needs. "Democracy is the most vile form of government. ... democracies have ever been spectacles of turbulence and contention; have ever been found incompatible with personal security or the rights of property: and have in general been as short in their lives as the have been violent in their deaths."[3] The following chart will show how this applies today - The red shows the areas that voted for Trump and the blue shows the areas where Clinton won.

The presidential election was not the only arena where the democrats got trounced. The republicans maintained control of the House and Senate.

"If you were born in the United States, you hit lotto, regardless of the status you are in."[4] If you keep food in a refrigerator, clothes in a closet, sleep in a bed and have a roof over your head, you are richer than 75 percent of the world. 18 out of every hundred people survive on one dollar a day. 53 out of every hundred people have to live on two dollars a day.

Crying, demonstrating, destroying property, death threats, blocking highways and other ways of throwing hissy fits are the games being played by the ALT Left. "We need to treat millennia's to the real horrors of what they pretend to be suffering."[5]

We know that a sign of desperation and last ditch effort for the democrats is to call people racist, haters and bigoted. Bernie Sanders said:  "We have to be real and understand that the populism around Donald Trump's campaign was intrinsically tied to racism.  It was intrinsically tied to making people that were not white working class "the other."  "Make America Great Again" takes us back to -- people that look like me takes us back to -- the time we were in slavery, we were in chains, when we worked on plantations, internment camps for the Chinese.  So it is really, really important that, if we want to heal, that if people want to get past, if Trump supporters want to say, "Well, why are you calling me racist," we have to understand that populism was tied to elements of racism.  People think racism is dogs and white hoods and water hoses and the N-word.  And that is not the only form of racism.  There are microaggressions. There are, "Oh, you speak so well."  These are microaggressions that are forms of prejudice and discrimination that we have to address." Rush Limbaugh says: "they really do believe this crap".

"The Leadership of The Democrats Still Doesn't Get It!
They are still insisting that Trump won because he ran the most xenophobic campaign ever. They still refuse to understand that the main reason for the win was actually three fold.
For Christians, and many others, the main factor was a vote FOR the more biblical/traditional American policies stand of the republican platform.
Secondly, it was a vote FOR the hope of a more economically rewarding agenda for the middle class.
Thirdly, it was a back lash AGAINST the divisive and mind control (witchcraft) tactics of the politically correct stance based upon the Luciferian  loving prognostications of Saul Alinsky. His main "fighting tactic" is "when you can't win on the issues," resort to marginalizing your opponent through assaulting them with insults and controlling the agenda by redefining words and creating a "transforming rhetoric" that all must be defined by.
Finally, not being controlled by the politically correct elitists, Trump used their own tactics to push back against the politically correct indoctrination that the people are sick and tired of.
On top of that, and far more powerful, were the prayers unto The Lord to overcome the evil of transforming America into a godless and lawless humanistic secularized culture.  Therefore Christians, this is not the time to stop because we won the election, but rather to be even more diligent prayer warriors that America would have a revival and turn back to The Lord, and be the light and salt on the earth!  Put on the full armor of God, be a spiritual warrior in the army of God.  Fight against the wiles of the powers and principalities of the darkness of this world. Be not deceived, the devil still roams too and fro seeking who he may destroy.
Continue to stand, without compromise, in the name of The Lord Jesus Christ. Remember, Greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world."[6]
The democrat party is fighting over whether to be the Bernie Sanders party or the HILLARY CLINTON party. They will remain divided until they realize that they should be the American people's party."

"OBAMA AND HIS DEN OF DECEIVERS!
How many, under the Obama administration, of the employed are now having to work 2 or more part time jobs to make ends meet because they no longer have a well paying full time job? How much of the labor force is no longer working at all because they can't find a job! When is Obama & his administration going to stop skewing the economic data, giving false information, to make themselves look better, but never caring about the peoples' lives that they are destroying? They major in how to make numbers lie."[7]

The labor rate is 62.7 percent. The Obama administration wants us to believe that  4.6 unemployment is good. What about the 37.3 percent of the work force that's not included in their calculations? When someone gives up looking for a full time job, they are dropped from the stats. The true unemployment figure is somewhere between 15 and 25 percent.
Some may think that I hate people like President OBAMA and Hillary Clinton, however, nothing could be farther from the truth. I do feel sorry for them, I hate what they have done to my country and I hate what they have done to the religious freedom of our country. Despite all this, I believe that they are not beyond redemption. As per example, I present Saul/Paul, who was one of the worst skuz buckets in the Bible. The Lord was able to turn him into one of the greatest saints in history. Obama, Hillary and others of their ilk are not beyond hope, but a lot of prayer is needed.

Just watched the HGTV special " White House Christmas 2016" lots of beautiful decorations representing the secular side of Christmas. To bad there was no indication that it was the birth of Christ being celebrated. I couldn't figure out if it was HGTV or the White House folks who left Jesus out. Just another example of the diminishing of the Christian foundations of our nation.

It is easily proven that this is a CHRISTIAN NATION. If you can't deal with it, you are welcome to whatever your opinion is, but the truth is that this is a Christian nation. We welcome diversity, however we will not change the traditions of our nation to suit you; especially since you had to know who we were BEFORE you came here. If you were not interested in finding out who we are and being a part of us, why did you come. We celebrate the Jew, Jesus.
Boruch Hashem

MY LITTLE BLUE BOOK

One Christmas Eve, when I was about five years old, I woke up after everyone else was fast asleep in bed.  I slipped out from beneath my covers, and headed to the bathroom.  In the fog of sleepiness, I had forgotten that it was Christmas Eve.  However, upon leaving the bathroom, the colorful lights of the Christmas tree caught my eye and lured me into the living room.  Loving surprises, it was not usually a part of my nature to go snooping, especially not at Christmas time.  However, for some reason, I slipped into the living room.  I wondered, “Had Santa arrived while I was fast asleep?”  The room was dark except for the colorful bubbling lights on the Christmas tree.  It was just the kind of scene that could set any little girl’s imagination dancing to the sound of Christmas songs that played in her head.
The first thing that caught my eye was an amazing life sized baby doll propped up snuggly against the wall.  Her head was adorned with beautiful auburn red hair, and her eyes were a beautiful blue, like the color of the sky.  I was so enthralled; it was hard to pull my eyes away from her round little face.  Suddenly, I was overwhelmed with a feeling of guilt, sensing that seeing Christmas before Christmas morning just might ruin everything.  I pulled my gaze away from all that lay under the tree, and directed my little feet back to bed.  Climbing under the covers, I snuggled up next to the warm body of my big sister, and once again soon fell fast asleep.
Christmas morning finally came and the family gathered around the tree.  Filled with excitement, you could hear explosions of gratitude and happiness as we uttered “oo’s” and “ahh’s” with the opening of each special gift.  The one gift that didn’t need to be opened was my baby doll.  Finally, with a glad heart and no amount of guilt, I was free to pick her up and wrap her in my arms.  I just couldn’t get over the auburn-red hair and her wide blue eyes that would blink open and shut as she was moved back and forth.  At the time, I’m sure that I must have thought that she was my most prized and valued gift.  I had no idea of the real treasure that laid in store for me!
I can’t tell you that I even remember what else I may have been given, with the exception of one rectangular shaped gift, which turned out to be a hard backed blue book.  At first, I’m not sure if the gift really made much of an impression upon me.  I may have even set it aside and not paid much attention to it for the time being.  However, over the coming days and years, it took a place in my heart that would overshadow and outlast the baby doll and all other gifts.  Little did I know that it would be used as an instrument to draw me closer to “The One”, Jesus, who would “melt me and mold me” into His image, and change my life completely.   The words, “Bible Stories,” were embossed on the front of the cover, and the inside was filled with stories and colorful scenes of people and places.  They drew my attention, stirring my mind and heart with a desire to get to know all about them.  Who were they, and how did they live their lives?
I don’t remember who took the time to read the stories to me, but I do remember reading them myself as I grew a little older.  The book began by telling about God and how He was the one who created the world and everything in it.  There were stories about Adam and Eve and how God had created them in His own image, to have a special relationship with Him.  It told of how they first walked and talked with God in the Garden of Eden. They were given dominion over all things with the exception of one; they were not to eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil.  Unfortunately, they fell for the lies of Satan, rebelled against God, opening themselves to the knowledge of evil; thus, the door of the power of sin in the world was opened.  Yes, from the very beginning, man has been granted the God given gift of free will.  God never intended to program man so that he would automatically believe in Him, but rather with a will of his own, to either choose to follow God, or to choose to reject Him and go his own way without God.  God has always loved man, but man does not always love God.  Love can not be forced; it is a personal choice.
I learned about the lives of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and how they believed in the one true God.  There were the stories about Moses and how he led the Israelites, God’s chosen people, through the Red Sea and set them free from bondage in Egypt.  There were the miraculous stories of the shepherd David who slew the giant, Goliath, not by might or power, but in the name of the Lord.  Then to there were the three Jewish boys who were thrown into the fire, and Daniel who was thrown into the lions den, and yet all were saved by the One True God.   I learned of Joseph, and his robe of many colors, who was sold into slavery and taken to Egypt, and yet he was eventually given a top position of authority over the finances on Egypt.  He later saved his entire family from the famine in the country.  My little book told the real story of Christmas, not about Santa Clause, but how God’s only Son was born of the virgin Mary, and the three wise men who came to worship Him, bringing gold, frankincense, and myrrh to honor Him.  I loved the scene where Jesus said to His followers, “Suffer the little children to come unto me, for of such is the Kingdom of God.”  I envisioned myself as being one of the children which were gathered around Him, and oh how I longed to be allowed to crawl up on His lap to be nestled in His loving arms.
The book was filled with the stories of how He gathered His disciples, and the many miracles He performed, from the turning of water into wine, raising Lazarus from the dead, to the healing of the leper, giving site to the blind, delivering the wild man who was filled with demons and restoring him to a right mind, and oh so many more come to my mind.  The scenes of the Last Supper, Jesus praying in the Garden before Judas betrayed Him, and the picture of Jesus hanging on the Cross between the two criminals were all planted in my memory.  The story about how Jesus died on the Cross to pay for our sins was both sad, but also mysteriously filled with happiness at the same time.
The stories conveyed how the disciples hid in fear and even denied knowing Jesus after He was taken into custody to be tried under the darkness of the night.  Yet, after He arose from the dead, appeared to them, and ascended into Heaven, they waited in the Upper Room together, as He had told them to do, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit.  No longer did they live in fear, but went about spreading the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, even at the peril of loosing their own lives.  John was the only disciple that lived out his natural life.  All the others lost their lives in some horrible manner because of their faith and refusal to stop spreading the truth that salvation is found through faith in Jesus Christ, and no other.  On and on the stories went to finally culminate in the story of how every believer will live one day with God, in the new Heaven and new earth, for all eternity, where the lion will lay down with the lamb, and we will have glorified bodies to live in a world with God, once and for all, set free from sin and death, as He had intended all along.  Yes, it is the Greatest Story ever told!
I can not claim that my family was of the type where we were daily taught of the Lord, but thankfully, I can say that there were inserted into our lives all along the way, opportunities to be taught of Him, that the Holy Spirit may begin His work in our lives.  Grace was always said at the dinner table; we were taken to church on Sunday mornings, vacation bible school, and revivals that always presented the choice of Heaven or Hell, and that Jesus was the way to avoid Hell and be saved now and for all eternity.  I consider all of these as blessings, instruments of God used to draw me unto Himself.  God calls to all, using diverse ways to reach each heart, but not every heart will choose to hear His voice and invite Him in.  I can’t explain it.  I just know that the point of decision will occur in the life of each person.
One of my favorite pictures in the book was of Jesus standing outside the door of a home.  I have a copy of that picture hung on a wall in my home today.  If you look closely, you will see there is no door knob on the outside of the door.  The door is to represent your heart, and Jesus is always waiting just outside, waiting for you and me to make the decision to open the door of our heart, to invite Him to come in to be our Savior and Lord.  Jesus will never force His way into anyone’s heart, but enter only where and when He is wanted, by invitation.  God has given us the gift of free will for a purpose.  It is His desire that every person will want to have a personal relationship with Him, but He will let us choose to exclude Him and go our own way, if that is the desire of our heart.
The scriptures implore all parents to teach their children from the word of God.  To be led of the Lord, one must not just know about Jesus, but that each of us might know Him personally.  The greatest blessing in life is to know the Lord, that He may direct our path throughout our journey of life from now and into eternity.  My little blue book, through pictorial and verbal images, was used as an instrument to draw me closer to God at a very young age.  It was not because I was so special, but because God is so special.  His love is so great towards us, and it is His desire to have that mutually loving relationship with each of us.
As a young girl, I remember spending moments of my alone time by contemplating upon what it must be like for family members who had already died, before I ever got to know them.  In my mind, I always assumed that everyone knew Jesus and death meant that you went to live with Jesus. The fact that anyone would not choose to believe in Him was just unthinkable.  For the longest time, I assumed that everyone believed in God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  That was just “normal” to me.  I would daydream about what they might be doing with Him in Heaven.  How happy they must be, walking and talking with God, being filled with such happiness, love, and joy.  How absolutely wonderful it must be just to be in His presence.
The pictures in my book always seemed to convey Him with love pouring out through His eyes, and having a voice so filled with love, gentleness, and kindness that no one could resist the desire to be with Him.  How could anyone not love such a One as this?  As the scriptures said, even the sound of His voice stirred up from within the hearer such a “burning within their hearts”?  The Holy Spirit, sent to indwell each believer, does that very same thing.  He stirs up such a yearning in our hearts, always increasing that desire to know the reality of His nearness, and experience that same burning in our hearts that was experienced in the hearts of those who walked and talked with Him, while He was with them on earth.  His nearness is not a trick of the imagination, but the reality of the power of His Holy Spirit around and in us.
Somewhere along the way, during one of our many moves, as we followed our Daddy from job to job, my little blue book was lost.  Yet it has continued to exist in my head and in my heart.  Its pictures and stories were used to plant seeds of faith within my soul.  They were used by the Holy Spirit to cause the word of God to take root and come alive within me.  This journey of life was never meant to be a solo experience of depending upon one’s self.  Instead, the journey is meant for the purpose of getting to know the One who has made us that we might love Him and give unto Him all glory and honor.  When He is invited to live within our hearts as Savior and Lord, what joy floods into our soul!  The joy of praising and serving the Lord our God has no comparison.  Each day, even in the midst of trials and tribulation, can be better than the day before as we learn more and more to submit our will to His.  As we do, He promises to make us more and more into His image that we may experience the fellowship and personal relationship with Him.  This was what He had planned all along, not just for now, but for all eternity.  Who can fathom the depth of such a great love as this poured out towards us?
God reaches out to everyone no matter where you are, who you are, what you’ve done, or how old you may be.  His instruments of love are many.  For me, one of those instruments was a simple little blue book.  It could have been placed on a book shelf to never accomplish a thing.   Instead of collecting dust, I thank God that it was used of the Lord to plant the seeds that would take root and give me the gift of life in the spirit, through faith in the gospel of Jesus Christ.  The seeds of faith that it planted in my heart, through the power of the Holy Spirit, were and are more precious than all the silver and gold in the world.
It is His desire that every heart may be pricked and turned to Him.  He will gladly give unto you a new heart, not of stone but of flesh.  As He calls unto you, don’t harden your heart towards Him.  Don’t choose to attempt to go through this journey of life alone, without the indwelling Holy Spirit to lead and guide you into all truth.  Willingly open the door of your heart.  Let Him come in and begin that good work in you that He has planned all along.  Be reconciled unto a right relationship with God the Father, that you too may receive all the blessings that He has stored up for you through faith in Jesus Christ His Son.  Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (John 14:6)
My little blue book was such a blessing in my life, for it was used by God to plant the seeds of faith, and helped to give me a hungering and thirsting for God and His word, the Holy Bible.  The Bible is not merely a book written by men as some may think.  It is the only book that reveals God and His truth.  It is the only book that was breathed out by God as the power of the Holy Spirit moved upon men, causing them to act as scribes to write down all that He wanted us to know that we may come to know Him.
Every time we spend time in His word, He gives us the opportunity to walk and talk with Him personally, just as Adam and Eve did in the Garden of Eden, before sin entered the world.  As we spend time in His word, meditating upon it, we gain another opportunity for Him to write His word on the tablet of our heart.  His word is like no other, for it is spirit.   He causes it to come alive within us that it may accomplish its transforming work within us, making us more and more like Him, and less like our old carnal nature.  It’s a life long process.  Just as it takes time, experience, and learning to grow from a child into an adult, it also takes a process of growing up in the Lord Jesus Christ, which He continues until we see Him face to face when He gives us our glorified bodies.  Our finite minds can not possibly grasp all that is incorporated in that transforming act; however, we can grasp and understand that what He has promised, He shall do, for God can not lie.
Though my little blue book was lost, what it taught me was not lost, but stored within my heart and mind.  Thankfully, Jesus continues to speak through his word to everyone who seeks Him.  Draw near to Him and let Him be your Savior, Lord, and dearest and nearest Friend.  All who seek the Lord in faith shall find Him.  Draw near to Him, and He shall draw near to you.  He is more precious than silver and gold.  There is nothing that we could desire that could ever be compared to Him.  As you seek Him, may His word come alive in you through the power of the Holy Spirit.  O taste and see that the Lord is good!  Trust in the Lord and He will direct your path.  “To God be the Glory!”  “Rejoice in the Lord always, and again I say rejoice!”

Prv. 22:6
“Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”
Deut. 11: 18-21
“Therefore shall ye lay up these words in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets between your eyes.  And ye shall teach them your children, speaking of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. And thou shalt write them upon the door posts of thine house, and upon thy gates: that your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, …”
Prv. 4: 20 – 22
“My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings.  Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.  For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.”
Prv. 3: 5-7
“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.  In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths.  Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil.”
