LGBTQ

          For those who don’t know, LGBTQ stands for: Lesbian, Gay, Transsexual, Bisexual and Queer. These are self imposed names for each of the five categories, which are each different things. This is a follow up to my paper on LGBT, back in 2015.

          Most people do not know the relationship between Christianity, the Bible and those who do not believe in the Bible or the deity of the Christ. I pray that I can suspend some of the misconceptions, misnomers and misunderstandings.

          Christians are to love one another, and all of mankind. God created us all, and He wants us all to function as His children. If God didn’t intend to love you, He would never have arranged for you to be born. That includes every one who ever was, is, and ever will be.

          Let it be known, that Jesus sacrifice, His death and His resurrection covered every sin of mankind, past present and future. No one is going to Hell because of sin. The thing that cannot be forgiven is the rejection of the Christ, who set up the only path to Heaven, through Himself. Accept the free Salvation that Jesus has provided and get on the elevator up. Reject Him and the only path to Heaven, and you are subjected the down elevator.

          There are those who go through the homosexual areas, with their Bibles raised high, proclaiming that the homosexuals are going to Hell because of their lifestyle. That is a lie of the worst order (a lie of Satan, the father of lies). That kind of assault goes against everything God stands for. All have sinned and come short of the Glory of God. That includes you as well as me. Our job is to present Jesus in a way that will bring people to Christ, not run them off. The salvation of The Christ is good news. Anyone who rejects it is welcome to do so; after all, the Lord did give us the right of free will. No one goes into Heaven through coercion.

          Only those who have humbled themselves, repented (repenting means to change your mind) of their sins, confessed that they want Jesus to be their Lord and Savior and dedicated their lives to Him are Christians. When you become a Born again Christian, your sins are cast away, as far as the East is from the West. There is no other way to become a Christian. There is no such thing as someone who has been born into a Christian family and therefore a Christian. Being a Christian is a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus. Being a member of a “Christian” church does not make you a Christian; any more than standing in a garage makes you a car. Being a Christian requires a personal relationship with God the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Submitting to Jesus, in you Born Again experience, makes you part of the family. Baptism would be the outward sign, that this has been completed, but it is not mandatory. There are times when it is not freezable, but would be good to do.

          There are two judgments; one for the Christian where the deeds they did accomplished something the Lord liked and the judgment (called The Great White Throne Judgment) of the ones who rejected Jesus. Their deeds  are written in a book kept in Heaven. The second book that is kept in Heaven is called the Lambs Book Of Life, where it is recorded that you asked Jesus to forgive you and asked Him to be your Lord. The Talmud says, that at the judgment, the sinner will admit to the Lord that their fate is their own fault.

          You have probably heard the expression that “God is Love” and He is. God is also the God of Justice. Since He is the Lord Almighty and the creator of the universe, His love and justice are inseparable. If you study the Bible (to show yourself approved), the Holy Spirit will lead you into all truth.

          Christians, and by implication the Jews, are not allowed, by God, to judge others. Judging is Gods job; and His job only! We are, however, supposed to evaluate what people do and say, as those things relate to what the Bible (the indisputable word of God) instructs. The Lord does not instruct us to stay away from certain things because they are fun, but because they are harmful. There is intelligence in the universe. The Lord God, creator of the universe, is that intelligence.

          The Bible tells us that in the end time there will be great deceit, delusion and deception; even if possible to the point of deceiving the elect.  What is the "lie" the Bible is talking about.  The most heinous lie, and the most damaging to mankind, is that there is more than one way to Heaven.  Regardless of what garbage is slung around in the world, there is only one salvation; and that is through Jesus.”[1]

          We, and God, do not hate the sinner. We hate the sin! Sin is what separates us from the love of God. If you went to your earthly father and told him that you took sandpaper to the windows of the family car what are your chances of him forgiving you? Well, this actually happened. I and My friend, David Sonnin, decided to polish my dad’s car (a 1938 Buick) while he was at work. It was a labor of love. We worked for hours, knowing what a great thing we were doing. I would have been a good thing if we had used auto polish, however, being second or third graders we thought that sand paper would be good to use. We sanded every bit of the paint and even ‘Polished’ the windows. We were so proud. When dad got home, he didn’t loose it, curse, or even holler. He saw that we thought we had done a good thing. He did, gently, explain that he appreciated the effort, but to ask before doing anything like that in the future. He replaced the glass, painted the car with a paint that you put on with a power puff. When he was finished, the car looked as good new. He forgave our sin and we learned our lesson. Plus he still loved me. It’s the same with God, if we repent and ask forgiveness, He will forgive us and Love us.

          There is no sin that is more sinful than any other. Some LGBTQ people think that they are not welcome to a relationship with God and that is often the result of judgmental Christians.. Regardless of what the sin is, there is not even one, except the rejection of the Christ, that can’t be forgiven. Repentance is the secret to renewal. Why not take the chance, before it’s too late, to seek forgiveness and everlasting life. As long as there is life, salvation is available.

What makes an earthquake ‘significant’
Here is the equation:
mag_significance = magnitude * 100 * (magnitude / 6.5);
pager_significance = red is 2000 : orange is 1000 : yellow is 500 : green is
0;
dyfi_
significance = min(num_responses, 1000) * max_cdi / 10;
significance = max(mag_significance, pager_significance) + dyfi_significance;
Any event with a significance > 600 is considered a significant event and appears on the list.[3]

Famines
“Are there any famines going on right now?
      Today, the world stands on the brink of unprecedented famines.
About 30 million people are experiencing alarming hunger, severe levels of food insecurity and malnutrition in north-eastern Nigeria, South Sudan, Somalia, and Yemen. 10 million of them are facing emergency and famine conditions.”[4]

 The falling away of the church and the great deception

”The following are the biblical basics of the true Christian Church:

1. There is one true and living God. He has three parts – God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. There is no other God.
2. God is all knowing, all seeing, all powerful and always present.
3. Jesus was born of a virgin.
4. Jesus was all man and all God.
5. Jesus taught what He wanted us to know, and saw to it that these things were recorded in the New Testament (new testimony of witnesses to what was taught and what took place).
6. Jesus is the Messiah, sent from the Father to be tortured, and die on the cross, so that our sins could be forgiven and we could have an undeserved personal relationship with Him.
7. The Holy Spirit is the personage of God that is in the world to inspire belief in the salvation available through Jesus. He dwells within us and is our comforter, if we are Christians.
8. The devil is real. By keeping you from accepting the free gift of salvation through Jesus, he seeks to destroy you.
9. Eternal salvation is available to anyone who repents of their sin and accepts Jesus as their Lord and Savior. This is the only path to Heaven.
10. In order to enter the
kingdom of God, you absolutely must be Born Again. The work has been done, the price has been paid and the availability is there for everyone.
11. The Bible is the inspired Word of God.
12. Jesus rose again, after dying on the cross and being dead for three days.
13. Jesus is going to return in Glory.
14. The Lord is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow.
15. The heavens, the earth and everything else that exists were created by God.

If your church deviates from the above, it is in grave danger. The following are some of the things to look out for:

1. The sign of the cross being removed from the interior and exterior of the church building.
2. Music so loud that it can be ‘felt’. Its purpose becomes more centered on promoting a ‘feeling’ rather than worship.
3. “New” translations of the Bible are in use, which vary greatly from the accepted translations. “The Message” was written by Eugene Paterson who himself says, it should not be considered the word of God, and urges that it not be used in formal worship services.
4. There are many paths to Heaven. This is known as Universalism, Syncretism, or Interfaithism.
5. Social justice, the new code word for income redistribution. Much to the chagrin of some, Jesus was not a communist.
6. Making the church look like a night club.
7. Using the phrases churched and unchurched instead of saved and unsaved. A watering down of the Gospel, such as not talking about sin.
8. Basing your faith on experience, and or spirit guides, rather than doctrine.
9. Replacement theology, which is the belief that the Christians have replaced the Jews, in the covenants.
10. Adding to, or detracting from, The Word of God. Books like’ The Book of Mormon’. If someone tells you to read the Bible less and their book more, be very skeptical.
11. Denying the virgin birth.
12. Denying the bodily resurrection of Jesus
13. Denying the inerrancy of the Bible.
14. Denying the Lordship of Jesus.
15. Denying that the Trinity is the one true and living God.
16. Using wrong names for God. Example: Allah is not the name of the God of the Bible. Jehovah is not the same thing as Allah. God’s name is the name above all names, not Allah, Buddha, Mohamed, mother nature, mother earth or any other name concocted by man.
17. Attempts to combine religions. Example: Chrislam, which attempts to say that ‘Allah’ and ‘God the Father’ are the same personage. It denies the trinity of God, and the lordship of Jesus.
18. The teaching of evolution. The New Age manuscripts worship the creation rather than the creator. ‘Pantheism’ is the assertion that God is ‘in’ all things; again, the worship of the creation.
19. A serious red flag is known as “Conplemplative Prayer” which is nothing more or less than “Eastern Meditation” [1]
20. The assertion that there is no Hell and that everyone is going to Heaven.
21. The denial that Jesus is going to return in glory and bring God’s justice to the world.

          There are even those who say that “fundamentalism is dead, and the number of remaining fundamentalists could be counted on your hands”[6] . One such person stated: “The word fundamentalist comes from a document in the 1920’s called the ‘Five Fundamentals of the Faith’. And it is a very legalistic, narrow view of Christianity.”[7] These five fundamentals are:

1. The inerrancy and full authority of the Bible
2. The literal second coming of Jesus Christ
3. The Virgin Birth and full deity of Christ
4. The bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead
5. The substitutionary atonement of Christ on the cross for the sins of the world
        “Though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.”[8]

Floods and Storms

2.29 Southern states floods and tornadoes

“The Great Flood of 2019: A Complete
Picture of a Slow-Motion Disaster

A Mississippi River mayor’s council estimated that the cost of infrastructure damage and emergency response was at least $2 billion. That number is likely to rise as the water recedes and officials can check the extent of the damage. The full cost to repair homes and businesses has yet to be calculated.
David Alexander, a professor of risk and disaster reduction at University College London, said that typical recovery times from major disasters are “in the range of 10 to 25 years.”
By the end of June, the flooding was so intense and widespread that at least 11 states had sought federal disaster funds for more than 400 counties. Forty-nine United States Geological Survey gauges measured more water this year than at any time in at least 20 years.
Bryan Tuma, assistant director of Nebraska’s Emergency Management Agency, said, simply, “I would describe it as biblical.”
Ultimately, the volume of water is only one source of damage: What’s in that water also plays a role.
The waters of the Mississippi, carrying chemical fertilizers from heartland farms, lawns and other sources, have contributed to a “dead zone” in the Gulf of Mexico, an area with too little oxygen to support fish and other marine life.
NOAA predicts that this year's dead zone will be 8,717 square miles — about the size of New Hampshire.”[10]

      The damaging slow-moving storms of 2019 were Hurricane Barry (Louisiana, $600 million in damage), Hurricane Dorian (The Bahamas, Southeast U.S. and Canada, at least $4.6 billion in damage), Tropical Storm Imelda (Texas and Louisiana, $2 billion in damage), and Tropical Storm Fernand (northeast Mexico, $250 million

Fire

2019 Was The Year The World Burned

    “Wildfires burned around the world this year from Australia, the Amazon and California. These forest blazes are part of nature but climate change is making them more frequent and more intense.
     The California wildfire season has once again been devastating, displacing thousands from their homes, burning more than 250,000 acres, and costing about $80 billion in damage and economic losses. The state saw planned electricity blackouts in an effort to prevent wildfires, leaving about 3 million people without power, some for almost a week.”[11]

All these are the beginning of sorrows.
 “Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.”[12]
