I need to say up front that there is no perfect 'man made' church. All denominations qualify as  man made churches. The “Body of Christ”, which consists of every Born Again Christian, qualifies as “The Church” and has nothing to do, organizationally with any particular denomination. Only Born Again Christians make up the Body of Christ. Jesus said: "Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again."[1]

The Catholic Church came into existence in the year 1,045. This was almost 1,000 years after the earthly death of Saint Peter. This date precludes the possibility of Peter being the first Catholic pope, as its “popeism” didn’t exist until the Catholic Church was formed.

Like many denominations, the Catholics invented some really weird ideas, like -
1. determining Mary, the mother of Jesus, to be divine and to be worshiped and that she intercedes for believers
2.  indulgences
3. purgatory
4. Infallibility of the Pope
5. The pope being God’s representative on earth and speaks for God, more than any other Born Again Christian.
If you want to know what else Jesus doesn’t care for in the Catholic Church, Google “Nicolaitans”, or see my paper[2] on the subject.

At this point, I should mention that I have known many Christian Catholics, including priests and nuns. Most Catholics have knowledge of who Jesus is and believe the Bible to be God's Word. The problem is that most, or at least many, have not taken the step of becoming “Born Again” and this is the fault of the Church.[3]

Recently, the present pope has said some really ridiculous things, like-
1. Having a personal relationship with Jesus is dangerous - I guess this precludes the Born Again experience
2. Wanting to change Jesus words in the Lord’s Prayer - lead us not into mistranslation
3. Touts science over scripture about climate change
4. Consulted a psychoanalyst to “clarify a few things”[4]
5. Says President Trump destroyed peace chances by recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
6. Says all men of 'good will' are saved - denying Jesus being the only way to be saved. John 14:6  Yeshua said, “I AM the Way — and the Truth and the Life; no one comes to the Father except through me". Complete Jewish Bible (CJB)
7. he expounds an unscriptural view of LGBTQ
8. Places himself above God, in saying President Trump is not a Christian
9. Says that the great majority of Catholic marriages are null[5]
10. Said that pastors shouldn’t be “putting our noses into the moral lives of other people”[6].

It is hard enough, in today’s world, to live the life of a Christian. It seems that persecution of Christianity is the in thing to do. Christians are the most persecuted group in the world[7]. Satan knows that he doesn’t have much time left, so he has to destroy as many lives as he can. Distorting the teachings of scripture is the easiest way to accomplish this goal. Jesus will be returning very soon and the churches needs to be preparing His way. The apostate church is readily discernible, if you are familiar with scripture. God has supplied us with the Bible, the guide to understanding what is going on around us. It is hard to discern when you are being fed junk if you don’t know the guide. The Holy Spirit will guide you into all truth.

John 3:16  “For God so loved the world that he gave his only and unique Son, so that everyone who trusts in him may have eternal life, instead of being utterly destroyed." Complete Jewish Bible (CJB)

Romans 10:9-11 "if you acknowledge publicly with your mouth that Yeshua is Lord and trust in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be delivered. 10 For with the heart one goes on trusting and thus continues toward righteousness, while with the mouth one keeps on making public acknowledgement and thus continues toward deliverance. 11 For the passage quoted says that everyone who rests his trust on him will not be humiliated." Complete Jewish Bible (CJB)
