White Privilege

          Why do we need to judge worthiness by category? Why can't we just judge a  person regardless of gender, political affiliation, religion, skin color or any other division? " I look to a day when people will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character."[1]



          Why is it that we have to keep dwelling on what happened to us, our parents, our grandparents, or any other family member throughout history? Almost all peoples have been enslaved, at one time or other, throughout history.




          Are these the old, rich, white, slaveholders we have been hearing about? If this strikes a racist note in your heart, go to the mirror and see if that hind end of the horse is still there. Bet you don't know which ones died broke, in debt, or both.



          Affirmative Action has been with us since 1961. This was shortly after we took prayer out of our schools, and slightly before banning the Bible from our schools. For the last 55 years, we have attempted to make up for perceived damage done to people who were displaced, enslaved or disenfranchised. Most of the people alive today have grown up under this attempt. One of the difficulties in determining who deserved this treatment, and or reparations due, is the difficulty in determining ancestry. An example of this would be: who is the descendant of a slave? Not all black people were slaves. Some black people were slave owners, and only a very small percentage of whites were slave holders. Which ancestors of slave holders do we charge for these reparations? Apparently, the current thinking is that everyone, regardless of guilt or color, should be taxed for the reparations.

"In institutions of higher education, affirmative action refers to admission
policies that provide equal access to education for those groups that have been historically excluded or underrepresented, such as women and minorities. Affirmative action (known as employment equity in Canada, reservation in India and Nepal, and positive discrimination in the UK) is the policy of favoring members of a disadvantaged group who suffer from discrimination within a culture. Often, these people are disadvantaged for historical reasons, such as oppression or slavery. Historically and internationally, support for affirmative action has sought to achieve goals such as bridging inequalities in employment and pay, increasing access to education, promoting diversity, and redressing apparent past wrongs, harms, or hindrances. The nature of affirmative action policies varies from region to region. Some countries, such as India, use a quota system, whereby a certain percentage of jobs or school vacancies must be reserved for members of a certain group. In some other regions, specific quotas do not exist; instead, members of minorities are given preference in selection processes.
The term "affirmative action" was first used in the United States in "Executive Order No.10925", signed by President John F. Kennedy on 6 March 1961, which included a provision that government contractors "take affirmative action to ensure that applicants are employed, and employees are treated during employment, without regard to their race, creed, color, or national origin." In 1967, gender was added to the anti-discrimination list. In 1989, the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination stipulated (in Article 2.2) that affirmative action programs may be required of countries that ratified the convention, in order to rectify systematic discrimination. It also states that such programs "shall in no case entail as a consequence the maintenance of unequal or separate rights for different racial groups after the objectives for which they were taken have been achieved." [2]
"As President Lyndon Johnson said in 1965, "You do not take a person who, for years, has been hobbled by chains and liberate him, bring him up to the starting line of a race and then say you are free to compete with all the others, and still just believe that you have been completely fair." President Johnson's speech eloquently stated the rationale behind the contemporary use of affirmative action programs to achieve equal opportunity, especially in the fields of employment and higher education."[3] 
          "In 2010, 15.1 percent of all persons lived in poverty. The poverty rate in 2010 was the highest poverty rate since 1993. Between 1993 and 2000, the poverty rate fell each year, reaching 11.3 percent in 2000."[4]  The poverty line in 2010 was determined to be $22,113.00, for a family of four.  "Today the poverty line for a family of four is $24,250.00. Also, today the poverty line for a family of four in Alaska is $30,320, and $27,890 in Hawaii."[5]  "In 2014, the official poverty rate was 14.8 percent."[6]
 

          "In 1900, life expectancy for white Americans was just 48 years and just 33 years for African Americans--about the same as a peasant in early 19th century India. Today, Americans' average life expectancy is 74 years for men and 79 for women. The gap in life expectancy between whites and non-whites has narrowed from 15 years to 7 years.
In 1900, if a mother had four children, there was a fifty-fifty chance that one would die before the age of 5. At the same time, half of all young people lost a parent before they reached the age of 21.
In 1900, the average family had an annual income of $3,000 (in today's dollars). The family had no indoor plumbing, no phone, and no car. About half of all American children lived in poverty. Most teens did not attend school; instead, they labored in factories or fields.
The nation's population shifted from the Northeast to the Sunbelt. In 1900, Toledo was bigger than Los Angeles. California’s population was the size of the population in Arkansas or Alabama. Today, Sunbelt cities like Houston, Phoenix, and San Diego have replaced Boston, Cleveland, and St. Louis. In 1900, about 60 percent of the population lived on farms or in rural areas. Today, one in four lives in rural areas; more than half live in suburbs."[7]

          In all 50 states, federal law makes it illegal to discriminate based on: Race, Color, National origin, Religion, Sex (including pregnancy, childbirth, and related medical conditions), Disability, Age (40 and older), Citizenship status,  and Genetic information.

          "There are those who wish to rewrite history and vilify our ancestors, about the way the Native Americans "were treated".  Anyone care for the truth?

1. No one knows for sure where the "native", "original", "first" or "indigenous " people, that were here when the Pilgrims landed, came from. There are dozens of theories such as the lost tribes from Israel. the Minoans, the Vikings, the Chinese and the Mayans, among others.  We do know that this continent is not where God created man.

2. My family, who originally came here from England, came to be able to practice their Christianity in peace, and spread the Gospel of Christ.

3. The Puritans and Pilgrims enslaved nobody.

4. The Puritans, and later the Pilgrims and the "Indians" got along very well.  It was only because of the help of these "Indians" that a little over half of the settlers lived through the first winter.  My ancestor, William White, died that winter and his wife married Miles Standish.  My direct ancestor, John White (William Whites nephew), arrived here in 1630 with his bride (whom he married on the ship), Francis Jackson, and settled in Watertown, Massachusetts.

5. No land was stolen from the "Indians".  A large tract of land, that was cleared and ready for planting, was available to the Pilgrims because the tribe that had occupied it had been completely wiped out by disease, long before the Pilgrims arrived.  The "Indians" believed there was something evil in that land, and therefore wouldn't use it. 

6. The true history of those who were the precursors of what came to be the United States is available for those who care to research it.  For this history, I recommend the book "The Light and The Glory", by Peter Marshall and David Manuel.  I recommend this book because it stems from the original writings, from those involved.  These Pilgrims were held together by their love of God, and Jesus law of "love thy neighbor", which included the "Indians" ( since all men are created equal). 

7. The first "Thanksgiving" celebration was a combined banquet with the Pilgrims and the "Indians".  The "Indians" supplied most of the meat, consisting of venison, wild turkeys and probably rabbits, squirrels and other items. The thanks that were given were for the blessings that God had bestowed on the Pilgrims (these blessings included the "native Americans")."[10]
          The above represents why I claim  "WHITE PRIVELIDGE". I am privileged to have the ancestry of the White family. The White's I am descended from came from England. Also, I must not forget that I am a mutt, because I also have ancestors from  Germany, Scotland, Ireland, and a few other little areas on addition to England. They came to do what we are still fighting for the right to do; practice our religion, without interference from the government.
          I am absolutely sick and tired of hearing how I am a privileged person whose life was made so much easier because of the color of my skin. I have worked since I was 14 years old. I bought and worked on my own vehicles. I paid for my college by working in gas stations. I was successful in my employment because of my work ethic. I always got to work early, stayed late and did what I had to do to be successful. When working in the sales field, I always made more sales calls, never lied, followed up on everything I said I would do, and built a reputation for reliability in the eyes of both my customers and employers. To my knowledge, I have never been placed ahead of any other person because of my skin color.
          Some "black" people seem to be the most interested in accusing people of 'white privilege'. Hispanics come in second. I have never seen a black person and I have never seen a white person. We are all one race, created by God, and are all shades of brown - some darker and some lighter. I don't know what color Adam and Eve were, and neither do you. Perhaps they were both different shades of the same color, just like we are.
          The Progressives seem to believe that people of color are inferior races[11]. They believe that these less intelligent and less ambitious people cannot fend for themselves and therefore belong on the government plantation, of government assistance.[12] Funny, the black people and Hispanics that I know are successful and industrious people. I wonder where the progressives got their opinions. Perhaps it is part of their agenda to control the masses, like Carl Marx espoused. I wonder where white privilege came into this thinking, because as I see it, the progressive movement contains people of all colors. Perhaps the same people who are trying to get the Lord out of our culture are the same people who want to divide us in all the other areas of life.
          Our country has never been perfect, and probably won't ever be perfect. What I do know about our country, and its founding, is that it was established by God, and is the most perfect nation ever set up (with the possible exception of Israel). Our nation was set up to be the freest nation in the world. It was set up on biblical principals.  It was the first nation set up to be run for and by the people. It was assumed that the people would be under the direction of God. The writings of the founding fathers confirm this. Those people who hold grudges against our country need to remember: biblically speaking, healing comes after forgiveness and forgiveness comes after submission.


          There is a passage in the Bible that says: if we will humble ourselves, and pray, God will forgive our sins and heal our nation.[13] The major stumbling block here seems to be the humbling part. Our government indoctrination system has taught our children that their parents are not enlightened like their teachers are. In some cases, the students are told to ignore their parents about some things and teach their parents whenever they get the chance. They are even told to hide the information they are given, because their parents won't understand. Self esteem is the PC justification for this and the tool by which the child is deemed superior to the parent.

          The way the progressives have infiltrated the schools, the churches, the press and the entertainment industry is all predicted in the Bible. Setting up the new world order, for the Anti-Christ and the false prophet, is described extensively.

          "White privilege is a part of the politically correct agenda devised for the purpose of creating division and strife and blocking the higher values of unity and forgiveness. If one assumes that there is white privilege then one is assuming that there is an inherent lack of ability for people of color to succeed, even to the point of being a weak and inferior peoples. What an insult to people of color, and an arrogance from those who espouse such divisiveness."[14]

The Catholic Religion

          Please do not think that I am singling out the Catholic church in this article. I am rather using it as an example, of Jesus warning, about what would happen to the "Church" in the end times, That "even the elect" might be deceived. I have known many good Christian Catholics in my lifetime, and I have also known many who depended on their membership in the Catholic Church for their salvation. I am not even singling out all of the hierarchy in the Catholic Church, as you will read. Today, many churches, especially the denominational ones are falling into the same schism of walking away from the Bible.



          The early church was to the Jew first and then to the gentile. As is discussed, in the book of Acts, the vast majority of the first Christians were Jewish converts, who became Messianic Jews (by being Born Again). gentiles who become "Born Again" are adopted in to the family of God (Jews).[1] No one is entitled to call themselves a Christian, unless they have been born again. However, in the second century anti-Semitism began creeping into the Church. Paul, and others, wrote about the judaizers and the Gnostics who were apostate very early on.

          Saint Peter was not the first  pope of the Catholic church. The Catholic church didn't exist until almost a thousand years after Peter died.
In the year 1045 the "Catholic Church" broke off from the One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church. At that time the Pope decreed that Mary was divine and could be worshiped. Mary was given the title of "Mother Of God", which I thought she already was. He also pronounced that the Pope was infallible. Never before, in history, had anyone associated with Judaism and Christianity placed themselves on the same authoritative level as God.

"The Great Schism, also known as the East-West Schism, was the event that divided "Chalcedonian" Christianity into Western (Roman) Catholicism and Eastern Orthodoxy.^[1]^ Though normally dated to 1054, when Pope Leo IX and Patriarch Michael I excommunicated each other, the East-West Schism was actually the result of an extended period of estrangement between the two bodies of churches. The primary causes of the Schism were disputes over papal authority -- the Roman Pope claimed he held authority over the four Eastern patriarchs, while the four eastern patriarchs claimed that the primacy of the Patriarch of Rome was only honorary, and thus he had authority only over Western Christians -- and over the insertion of the filioque clause into the Nicene Creed. There were other, less significant catalysts for the Schism, including variance over liturgical practices and conflicting claims of jurisdiction."[2]

          "The Chalcedonian Definition (also Confession or Creed of Chalcedon) was adopted in A.D. 451 at the Council of Chalcedon in Asia Minor. That council was the fourth of the first seven Ecumenical Councils, which are accepted by Chalcedonian churches (Eastern Orthodox, Catholic, and most Protestant churches)."[3]

          "Jesus said He hated the Nicolaitanes, who in their pride, put on airs and ruled the people by assuming authority not given to church workers.  Their priests lorded over the people they were supposed to be serving and were apparently using the clothing styles of the Hebrew high priests; to set them above the people. Jesus said "He who would be first, should be a servant"."[4] It is my opinion that the "chain of command" used in the Catholic Church, and some other denominations, was the major problem Jesus had with the Nicolaitanes.

          "The Greek roots of the term "Catholic" mean "according to (kata-) the whole (holos)," or more colloquially, "universal." At the beginning of the second century, we find in the letters of Ignatius the first surviving use of the term "Catholic" in reference to the Church. At that time, or shortly thereafter, it was used to refer to a single, visible communion, separate from others. 
The term "Catholic" is in the Apostles’, Nicene, and Athanasian creeds, and many Protestants, claiming the term for themselves, give it a meaning that is unsupported historically, ignoring the term’s use at the time the creeds were written. 
Early Church historian J. N. D. Kelly, a Protestant, writes: "As regards ‘Catholic,’ its original meaning was 'universal' or 'general.' . . . in the latter half of the second century at latest, we find it conveying the suggestion that the Catholic is the true Church as distinct from heretical congregations (cf., e.g., Muratorian Canon). . . . What these early Fathers were envisaging was almost always the empirical, visible society; they had little or no inkling of the distinction which was later to become important between a visible and an invisible Church".[5]
          "The exact origin of the Nicolaitans is unclear. Some Bible commentators believe they were a heretical sect who followed the teachings of Nicolas—whose name means “one who conquers the people”—who was possibly one of the deacons of the early church mentioned in Acts 6:5. It is possible that Nicolas became an apostate, denying the true faith and became part of a group holding "the doctrine of Balaam," who taught Israel "to sin by eating food sacrificed to idols and by committing sexual immorality." Clement of Alexandria says, “They abandoned themselves to pleasure like goats, leading a life of self-indulgence.” Their teaching perverted grace and replaced liberty with license.
Other commentators believe that these Nicolaitans were not so called from any man, but from the Greek word Nicolah, meaning "let us eat," as they often encouraged each other to eat things offered to idols. Whichever theory is true, it is certain that the deeds of the Nicolaitans were an abomination to Christ. They, like the Gnostics and other false teachers, abused the doctrine of grace and tried to introduce licentiousness in its place (2 Peter 2:15, 19; Jude 1:4)."[6]

          "Throughout history, the Christians have been blamed for the majority of anti-Semitism.  What people fail to realize is that it was not Christianity that was anti-Semitic, but rather some misguided denominations who called themselves Christians.  The crusades and the inquisition were conducted by the Roman Catholic Church. Martin Luther, founder of the Lutheran church was an anti-Semite. The Nazi's claimed to be Christian, but in reality were Occultists.  In 100AD, Justin Martyr claimed the covenant between God and Israel was no longer valid.  The Bible says that Gods covenants are irrevocable.  In 130 AD, Irenaeus said the Jews were disinherited from the grace of God.  Irenaeus, was a disciple of Polycarp, who was a disciple of John.  Only Satan could mess up the truth that quickly.  We can't know where these people got their ideas (except through satanic influence), but we do know they were not expounding what is in the Word of God."[7]

          Today's Pope, "Francis"  seems to be falling into the same abyss that other popes have in the past.  He has said -

1. The Koran is a book of peace and Islam is not a violent religion. This shows very little knowledge of Both Islam and the Koran.[8]

2. God has "instructed him" to revise the Ten Commandments.[9]

3. The Christian who does not feel that the Virgin Mary is his or her mother is an orphan,[10]

4. On homosexuality - “Often they wish to encounter a Church that offers them a welcoming home. Are our communities capable of providing that, accepting and valuing their sexual orientation, without compromising Catholic doctrine on the family and matrimony?”[11]

5. Pope Contradicts Genesis Account of Creation, Argues ‘God and Evolution’ Are Compatible[12]  

6. Demoted American Cardinal Raymond Burke "The move was not a surprise, as Burke, the Vatican’s highest ranking American, had said last month that he was going to have a new post. The outspoken, conservative bishop — who pushed for the Vatican to revise and water-down its recent, tentative step toward greater acceptance of LGBT people — has butted heads with the pope since the Argentine was elected last year. Last month, he compared Pope Francis’ leadership to “a ship without a rudder” during an interview with a Spanish magazine."[13]

7. Bows head in prayer with Islamic Grand Mufti.[14]

          The above seven items simply demonstrate that although God is infallible, man is not. I would suggest That when hearing from the Pope, you do as I suggest with all of my writings, Compare everything to the Bible for verification.

          Jesus said to beware of those who distort His message. Jesus is the Light of the world, the alpha and Omega, the Savior of the world, the Good Shepherd, the Son of God, The Great Physician, Emmanuel, the I Am, the Messiah, the High Priest, the Bread of Life, the fountain of Living Water, the Deliverer, King of Kings, Lord of Lords, the Lamb of God, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Way, the Truth and the Light, the Resurrection, AND THE ONLY PATH TO HEAVEN.
